Anthologizing: Coates and Yyone Alloy

So basically~~~ I’ve been writing like a madman, new short stories for the Bold Curves Anthology. Here’s a sample from the first story, Coates and Yyone Alloy where Aaran is dealin’ with Jareth’s brusque regard for her … attitude. An excerpt follows:

Every One Sample

It’s okay, you don’t know yet. That’s not actually a book title. “Sampling” is so mid-90’s … I remember, I was there. Those were good times. Actually, I’m here to show off some hard draft work on a full blown novel tentatively entitled “Every One Wish”, which follows Every One Fight, but only in release. And now, excerpt from 12 – A Missed One:

Premium and an Interview

Four days ago Every One Fight was accepted to Smashwords Premium, which means it is available, well, everywhere. Goodreads, even. Scary. I’d love to say it’s in print, but it’s not. Smashwords is for the moment my sole publisher. It’s great but not. On a brighter note I completed my interview, which I will actually link here.

One: Backhand Fist

What hope do you see in this glass star, anyway? Good core but next to no livable surface area thanks to a generous coating of toxic minerals. You can call the military shielding an act of Phate if you want, but I say blind luck was our savior. I don’t care it’s the ‘miracle mineral’, either. I don’t have the same respect you do for Canor’s survival.

Amazon Carries a Big Nerosis

I have one thing to say: While Amazon controls digital distribution the stranglehold they have on our opinions appears even greater. We’re too afraid to say a word in support or defiance should we lose our vaunted 5-star valuations.

Hey, I have nothing to lose, but don’t suppose that would stop me if I had.

He Who Was Not (Excerpt)

Editing proceeds apace. It really does. I’ve turned some kind of corner and the writing I’ve been about for the last decade and a half all fits together now. It’ll fit even better when I finish editing and re-writing the parts that don’t fit (grin), but boy am I pleased. While I’m rearranging words, enjoy this excerpt from the short story He Who Was Not, one of six stories to be published in the Bold Curves Anthology. For those who loved Richard Diamond…

Fruits of Editing: Bold Curves Excerpt

So I spent a portion of yesterday healing and editing. My shoulder’s still basically a mess and I overdid it a little. Slow healer, but hey, that’s fine. I wanted to sample something more overtly exciting than Every One Fight for y’all, so here’s a snippet from Little Glass Soul. Except follows:

Captian Obvious

I dug this up after releasing someone out there purloined my idea (how? I foolishly used the material on Facebook, and its a commercial on our local radio). Well, okay, I never copyrighted the thing back in 2006, so whatever. I’m glad someone’s making money with it. Meanwhile, here’s what I wrote:
